Gin/Vodka Tasting Evening

£20.91

Gin/Vodka Tasting Night

After our successful après ski gin tasting event in April we have decided to organise another fun evening.  This time, attendees will have the choice of sampling either Vodka or Gin.  The evening will be brought to you by Euan McNicoll from McNicoll and Cairnie, on Friday, 24 November from 7pm-10pm and will be held in his shop on Gray Street in Broughty Ferry.

The shop is right beside the railway station which can provide convenience to those travelling from Arbroath or Montrose.

Each person will taste approximately 6-8 products (either Gin or Vodka depending on your preference) both in their raw state and with mixers.  We will also explore each drinks ‘perfect serve’ too, whether it be citrus, blackberries, rosemary or ginger for example.

Euan will provide a brief history behind both drinks, the havoc they have caused, and, as an example, explain how Gin came to be known as Mother’s Ruin.

Finally, Euan will touch on how both drinks are made.
