Condor Open Day 30th June
Arbroath Ski Club have been invited to take part in the Condor families’ day which takes place on Saturday, 30th June.
The day is being billed as a fun day for all the family, 45 Commando Royal Marines are opening the Base for the local community. There will be Royal Marine Displays, Farmers’ Market, Climbing and Abseiling, Petting Farm, Falconry, Off Road Driving, Rifle Shooting, Archery, Classic Cars, Bouncy Castle, Highland Dancing, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Fire the Royal Marines SA80 Assault Rifle, Bars plus lots more.
The Club will be delivering ski lessons throughout the day for members to help promote the facilities within the Base and Arbroath Ski Club. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible. We are planning on running three, 90 minute lessons throughout the day for members to book into. Former Scottish Team skier, Louise Kochalski, will also be returning to deliver a longer race training session. In addition to this, members will also be able to free ski (providing the minimum ability standards are met).
The sessions will cost just £5 per person for the 90 minute classes, £10 for the race training with Louise, and £5 for the free skiing. The classes will run at the following times:
Lessons
11am – 12.30
1pm – 2.30pm
2.30pm – 4pm
Race Training
11am – 2pm
Free Ski
Anytime between 11am and 4pm
